This visa is granted for one year and is extended from time to time in accordance with the relevant procedure and can be extended at the Bureau of the Population and Immigration Authority up to a cumulative period of five years and three months.
Re-entry visa / Inter-visa
This visa is given to the foreign spouses as part of the graded procedure – when the foreign spouse wants to visit abroad and then return to Israel, he must apply in advance from the Ministry of the Interior for a re-entry visa (“Inter Visa”) otherwise his visa will expire. This is a general license for temporary residence, and is usually given to foreign spouses who have been in the graded process for some time and prior to obtaining citizenship or permanent residence in Israel. Permanent resident-
A permanent residence permit is permanent, and there is no need to renew it.
